Introduction
Hello, I’m BRTZ.
I’m a computer science student from Italy. My main interests are functional programming, decentralized computing and communication, high performance computing, and free software in general.
What I’m currently involved in
- member of Codeberg e.V. and intend to contribute
- contributor for AerynOS, mostly in packaging
- am doing early work on various projects such as an XMPP library+client
but I’m mostly just studying and experimenting.
Where is my code
My code is mostly on Codeberg. I tend to keep my repos private until they’re somewhat mature.
I have a Github account, but I only use it for contributions, as I dislike the platform.
Copyright and LLMs
My code tends to be copyleft. The AGPL is great!
I don’t use LLMs as they would be a net negative on my learning process and on the long term quality of my projects,
and that’s besides the other concerns (environmental, psychological etc.).
This blog is nice
Thanks! I made it using Hakyll, a static site generator based on Haskell and Pandoc.
The CSS is PicoCSS, I appreciate it for being classless and fairly lightweight (~70KB).
There are also automatically generated RSS/Atom feeds.
The site’s source is available on Codeberg.
